The brightness difference between the DS Lite and the DSi is negligible, or not worth upgrading for, especially with the reduced battery life.

@Ansem: I found the lack of a coherent story a major gripe with Gears, but rather than presenting stupid or boring plot elements, it was just so vague. There's potential for some interesting back-story on the game, especially considering it isn't even set on Earth.

Ooh! I'm going broke in this end-of-year game rush, for me I'm looking foward to Far Cry 2 (PC), Fallout 3 (PC), Fable 2, Gears of War 2, Dead Space (not sure if I should get it on PC or 360..).. some I've forgotten no doubt.
