The thing is those types of cosmetic options doesn’t cost nearly as much as a different powertrain option. The additional tooling, certification, R&D, etc. that goes into anything to do with the drivetrain is orders of magnitude more involved (and expensive) than combinations of colors and interior bits.
Agreed: first gen looked great. Subsequent gens started looking more and more like tiny minivans.
If you’re even considering the EP3, you’re going to be reallllly disappointed by the power (or lack thereof) of the Fit. Doubly so if you have any passengers or are carrying cargo.
