Same reason why I don’t watch the D-League, MiLB, AHL, or Cleveland Browns games; why watch a lesser product when I can watch the best?

Not really hate. I’m Asian too and I find the stereotype to generally be true. You should see my mom drive.
Good man
Came here for the 1.5psi and digital tire gauge reference. Was not disappointed.
So that means the City of Chicago is the one at fault, right? They’re the ones that employ the airport police, after all.
And their conduct is United’s fault how? I wasn’t aware that United had jurisdiction over the police.
Except they didn’t break their contract; their contract says they can boot you off for pretty much any reasons: https://www.united.com/web/en-US/content/contract-of-carriage.aspx
Better for the airlines, although that hasn’t stopped people from equating UA to passenger-beating thugs thanks to clickbaity headlines.
Pretty much. They’re not even allowed to carry firearms.
They are airport police, part of the Chicago Department of Aviation.
Do rear facing carseats fit? I had problems trying to fit those into a GTI without requiring the passenger sitting up front to move the seat almost all the way to the front and upright.
Technically, Moore’s Law doesn’t reference processing power either, but empirically the doubling trend applies to both processing, memory, and storage.
Sure, but the OP compared it to the GTI. The GTI is hitting 300whp and 330wtq from a stage 2 tune. I don’t think the 1.5 will get anywhere close to that without a turbo upgrade and maybe internals to boot.
Well, in the aggregate everything may be amazing...but from a power perspective this underperforms to its peers, so it’s hard to be happy. I mean, it’s amazing that life expectancy has gone from 40 years to 80 years, but if I only live for 60 years compared to everyone else who lives for 80 years, I’m not going to be…
A few of my coworkers have Leafs (Leaves?). After 3 years their effective range has dropped from 80 miles when new to less than 60 miles. Not sure I’d even pay 8000 for 60 miles of range...
Hard to say. Baseline dyno of the car was 163, which is more than the advertised crank HP, but this was on a DynoPack which are known to spit out higher numbers than DynoJet and Mustang Dynos. It’s technically WHP, but not all WHP are created equal, so... probably more like 210 at the crank?
Programs become more advanced because we as humans expect more.
I had a 500 Abarth. I can tell you for a fact that the most you can reliably increase the power to and still have some semblance of reliability is around 200hp.
I think the problem is that you’re paying Focus ST, GTI, and WRX money for Fiesta ST and Elantra Sport performance.
15 years ago a computer with 256MB of ram was considered to be amazing too.
