Assuming you already know what you want.

It does. Scions have fixed pricing, so right now you can actually buy a BRZ for less than you can an FRS because you can negotiate on the former but not the latter.

The teenagers in the 90s who wanted a Supra but obviously couldn't afford one are now in their 30s and 40s. I'm sure a sizable chunk of them (especially those in the tech sector) would strongly consider ponying up even 911 money for a new Supra (assuming it's as beastly as the old one was when compared to its

I'm not surprised that bad things happen when you mix Inglewood with Watts.

As a taxpayer, I approve.

My only issue with autocrossing is that you have to spend a whole day there for just 4 laps, including working 1 session in the hot baking sun. From my experiences the time-to-fun ratio is pretty bad.

But what if the dudes in the F-150 had decided to rape a few girls the next day? Or had a child who would turn into the next Hitler (Godwin's law, I know).

Life is more interesting when we start discussing what-ifs and hypotheticals.

But where were the explosions? Or the 23 gear shifts? Or dudes with SMGs firing indiscriminately at each other?

Good. Doge has run its course; it needs to die in a fire.

"Hollywood-style car fight"? Over-dramatic much?

So, what exactly would you have done? How would you have checked to see if the car was stolen if the VIN was good? Would you call every police department in the country to see a they have any report of a stolen car that matched the description over the past 20 years? Knock on every door asking if someone had a 1963

Wait WTF are you talking about? The state inspector gave the car a new VIN 14 years ago, so as far as the father and son knew this car had a clean title. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see anything that said they tried to "slide one past the inspection folks" when they bought the car 11 years after the

Oh I'm not saying they shouldn't try to improve on it, just that the current implementation in the US leaves a lot to be desired.

I don't disagree that it's mind-boggling simple, but I think you're underestimating the sheer ineptitude of American drivers. Half the time I see drivers make left turns by going the wrong way in the roundabout rather than going around it. Or I see drivers who don't realize that those in the circle have right of way.

Yup, looks like I-5 in Valencia

Doesn't that mean it's not a good idea on paper either?

Yes, but that still relies on drivers understanding those basic concepts, something that has proven to be unrealistic in America. Ergo, it illustrates something that on paper sounds great but in practice here doesn't work as expected.

Not quite so innocent, though. A 14-year-old is already in high-school, and is well old enough not to run from the cops and then try to lose them by driving through a crowded park.

Stupid is TPing a tree or egging a house. Driving through a park filled with kids while running away from the cops during a joyride is a whole different level of stupidity.
