Maybe someone higher up in the system will hear about that beatdown and suddenly be all, "why are we keeping a squealer in the same prison as the person she squealed on?"

Really, I think she holds him in high esteem - she's flat-out called him her hero before - but is a bit taken aback by his inability to follow her scheming intellectually, and to set aside his emotions when she thinks they need to be set aside.

Fun side note - most of the chorus to "Get Lucky" can be replaced with "you really smell like dog buuuuns", which helps the 10k'th time it comes on.

Really, I prefer the way they're going to keeping Finn a presexual 12-year-old for the whole show. Dealing with new desires, and just new attitudes born of a maturing, more cunning brain that bend you toward shitty behavior, even apart from sexuality, is part of growing up, and I like that they're showing Finn

Also Baron Harklemon, especially when he's flying down the hallway on Lemongrab 2's hoverscooter thing.

I loved the prank music callback, and the parallel between Finn and Young PB's fist bump and this episode's high five, with Finn getting just a bit creepy, stroking PB's hand.

NEMFTR, the Never Ending Mercury Fulminate Throwing Robot.

He's used the right names before. The mask is slipping!

I doubt it's as shippy as the previews make it out to be. I'd wager that bit's all in Finn's head, and PB's taking him along so she doesn't have to be the only one there whose head doesn't come to a nub.

Adventure Time promo art! I'm curious how the episode will go over, since lots of folks seem to have a much lower tolerance for Lemongrab than me.

There's a cipher on the pipes when it pans from the attic to Stan opening the vending machine at the end that reads "BILL IS WATCHING"

That sounded like Justin Roiland doing the voiceover for it, too. Maybe Blendin Blandin's having to take small jobs to make ends meet, too.

I always got the impression Piper was a literary type, so I don't see why she wouldn't know that on her own.

Maybe Stephen Fry will join him for "Puttin' on the Regency"!

And there's really no one to appeal the legality to, since PB herself seems to be the only competent non-evil authority figure in Ooo. I imagine she, ever the pragmatist, decided to flatter Maja by working within her system whether or not PB herself accepted it, rather than risk confrontation without Marceline there

@avclub-487cf32249fbaaa5a79258e26d54fe19:disqus The only real loss there is the "Land of Aaa" one. I always thought that was funny.

Who, I'd say, is Finn's mom, drowned in the ocean. Granted, that's probably not it, but if it is, I'll look so smart for saying that here.

I liked the implied mathematics of sacrifice at the end. My take is that the shirt wasn't more valuable because the connection involved was inherently stronger, but that:

I'm not sure that Bubblegum inhaling deeply at the beginning is really just a hint.
