When I say serviceable life limit I’m referencing the mileage determined by each manufacturer for their vehicles. BMW I think is still 100,000 miles, and I would have assumed Volvo was as well. But even purchased at 75,000 miles, the car is at 115,000 miles and needed $17,000 in repairs. I would say that’s not good…

You purchased a used vehicle past the serviceable life limit, so a warranty makes sense. However, purchasing a new vehicle with an extended warranty or service agreement when typical car buyers don’t own their vehicles long enough to complete the warranty or service term does not make sense.
