It took me damn near 10 years to get my CJ3A done (around high school and college scheduling). Stick with it. Also, a Dana 41 should be relatively cheap to find and bolt in. I remember handing mine over to the junk yard because I couldn’t put 3.73 gears in it.

Working in a similar situation, there are some GMs or owners that do not know what their field personnel are doing day-to-day. The president of my previous company would have no idea how many insulators we had on what job site, or even if they came to work.
