Oh fuck that headers were not easy to swap on them. The entire intake needed to come off, and that was only not-hell if your exhaust manifold bolts were still in one piece. Granted a 4.0L with a cracked exhaust manifold is still a better engine than the Toyota 3.0L

to be fair, the XJ only had one head gasket (except for the V6 model), and they burned out a lot of exhaust manifolds.

That’s like comparing an orange to a basketball. The Cherokee was 3,000lb and 165" long. A 4Runner today is at least 4,400lb and 190" long. Plus the first gen 4Runner is just a pickup truck with a permanent bed cap. Toyota didn’t really reinvent the wheel with that one, unlike Jeep did with the first unibody SUV ever

The XJ Cherokee was the perfect vehicle. It used many of the same parts as other vehicles in the Jeep lineup, it was economical, offered a decent ride, had plenty of power, and got decent highway gas mileage.

I really like this idea.

Your ska reference did not do you any favors.

y u no DZLGATE?

QUICK TIP no used BMW is in good working order.

Can we stop calling lazy car builds Rat Rods? “I didn’t want to do body work because it’s hard and expensive” does not a Rat Rod make.

In defense of my rolling shitbox of an E46, your model had no sport suspension and was a fat AWD pig. The E46 coupe handles wonderfully, and has torque for days.

Calm down, Bethany. It’ll be ok.

You also have a windshield frame blocking your vision?

Are you kidding me? You literally pasted that from Wikipedia. it may come as a surprise but I did a research assignment on ska music and am well aware that black people developed ska as a mixture of their Caribbean music and southern US music they picked up on radios.

Once again Camaros are behind Mustangs.

Good for the banjo. The fiddle came from medieval Europe, which came from the Eastern Roman Empire.
