Yes I’m obviously why people need to apply for federal assistance programs.

I didn’t poo poo them for “doing the right thing”. I poo poo’d them for being a judgemental shit.
I have been lucky enough to avoid needing any form of public assistance - I guess I’m a terrible human being, huh?
You’re telling me I need to check my privilege because I would not sit behind a computer and judge someone for not returning a meal for two at McDonald’s?
I don’t understand how being handed an extra $20 from an institution with insurance for these types of events makes me a bad person just because I don’t have the inclination to pull around, park, wait in line, and finally hand them the equivalent of 0.03 seconds of their yearly revenue. This has happened before, and…
I mean, I’m not the guy taking the moral high-ground because I did something I was supposed to do anyway. I bet you’re one of those people that does their job and then gets pissy because no-one noticed you were doing your job.
Hell I’m surprised they let you in the bank while you were riding your high horse. It’s $20. You didn’t exactly pull anyone from a burning building or stop a crime in progress.
That’s not wanting to screw anyone over. OP is acting as if the price of one IMAX movie ticket is going to turn someone into a gutter-crawling cur.
Is your moral compass so fucked up that a $20 bill would cause you to have an existential crisis?
Can I get out of the grays? I didn’t realize being cheeky would get me grayed out...
The first hand-painted Lamborghini was the 350 GTV, mostly because it was the first Lamborghini, and it was fucking painted by hand.
I still disagree, and would like to point out that I was incorrect - I should have stated VW would never market a VW product as being faster and cheaper than an Audi product. VAG will not sell something that, on paper, can beat a more expensive and similarly aligned Audi product. GM does it with Cadillac as well. I am…
So now we’re trying to determine what the “vast majority of car shoppers don’t care about”, even though the vast majority of car shoppers wouldn’t even purchase a GTI or Golf R or S3 or RS3? Of course some idiot on the street doesn’t know the different between the M3 and 340i, or 328i, or 320i. BMW isn’t marketing the…
I would not call that within the margin of error, as the results are taken from the best of three runs for each vehicle (IIRC my C&D test methods), and these are measurements, not calculations.
The RS3 is not a more powerful version of the S3, it’s a distinct model. That would be like saying the M3 is a more powerful version of the 340i.
Good for you - Evo was able to get a Golf R to beat an RS3 around a track. This would be interesting if it were an S3 they compared the Golf R to, but it’s not.
Car and Driver has an S3 DSG hitting 60mph just before the Golf R DSG does, and clipping the 1/4 mile 0.3 seconds and 2mph faster than the Golf R. VAG will not sell a VW that is faster on paper than a competing Audi for less money. The performance numbers are close enough that driver error would wipe out the advantage…
The world in which R&T and C&D instrumented test results put the S3 faster than the Golf R.
