VQ’s sound like someone filled a coffee can with gravel and chucked it down an exit ramp.

I liked the G before they fucked up the headlights with the re-fresh, but I think the Q looks way better in all regards.

You can look at a Q50 and a G37, and think the G37 looks better? I bet you’re one a them that likes the VQ exhaust note, too.

How the hell are the Pilot and 4Runner not enormous!? the QX60 is a big-fuck car too!

Sell it for tons of money and buy him a Volvo. But not an R, because that’ll bankrupt him.

The last thing you want is water in that watch. The parts are not made from stainless steel, you know. I’m thinking your mainspring is rusted up, as well as your balance spring by now. Lucky that it’s working. Make sure you get it serviced every 2-3 years to prevent any additional problems.

It’s easier to just get an ‘85 or ‘84 instead of the earlier models, unless you can find a pre-ugly bumpers model (up to ‘78?) like a 450SL.

The 500SL was badged as a 560SL in the same way that the 380SL was also badged as a 560SL; completely different SL as far as Mercedes was concerned. The 560SL was sold from ‘86 to 89 in the US, while the 500SL never made it to our shores except through gray market imports.

For the billions of 380SL cars they sold here it’s good advice. Plus, Mercedes did not fix all of the 380SL engines under recall. They offered for a period of time and then stopped. Finding a single-row engine today is still common, and a retrofit is thousands. I would stay away from a 380SL altogether unless it’s the
