something to be aware of is that the clock widget starts to get out of sync with the real time. I’ve noticed it being at least five minutes behind - weirdly the clock app doesn’t have this issue.

my first memory of Voyager was running up to the John Menzies shop on the hightstreet and buying it on VHS. I hate to think how much money I spent buying all of those with only two episodes per tape...

my guess would be they said that to avoid spoilers? which would be a first really...

it boggles my mind the praise The Orville gets. its a terrible show, the acting is terrible, the comedy is non-existent and the stories are either rip-offs of previous trek stories or look like they’ve been written by someone drunk.

Calling it now... that “non-detonated photon torpedo” in the Enterprise hull will contain Spock... it’s not like he won’t end up in one eventually...

by making the characters realistic CGI they’ve managed to lose the fun nature of the original... nice try Disney, next!

absolutely love how much detail goes into every single frame of a Makoto Shinkai movie... can’t wait! 

i just hope they don’t undo the whole timeline so that Burnham’s parents don’t die so Burnham doesn’t become Spock’s sister just to avoid the issue of Spock never mentioning having a sister. ain’t nobody got time for timelines!

also, with all that future tech, don’t they have wifi? why did she need to be “plugged” in to upload the data? They have holograms, computer tablets that can share data between screens and augmented humans but they don’t even have a 4G signal? wtf?!

if ever there was a film that didn’t need a remake it was this. just watch the original in either language and enjoy it.

it amazes me that people are happy enough to forgive murderers and let them work but “alleged” sexual harrassment? oh no, that’s it, you’re done! what a world we live in.

i tend to think “critics” are being nice because they are afraid of being accused of having an “anti-woman” stance. the last series and the new years special were dull. Not the fault of the actors but the writers and show runner. Doctor Who is supposed to be a fun show but lately its all been a bit meh.

once again the problem with prequels is clear... i wonder if they’ll be successful?

i hope the new year episode has some “energy” in the acting and the writing because it’s been seriously lacking so far!

is everyone watching a different series than me? This whole series has had the dullest stories with the dullest of companions. Doctor Who is supposed to be a fun show but everything just seems to bland now. If you were to remove the TARDIS and change nothing else there would be nothing “Doctor Who” about this show…

my problem with this series is that the companions are incredibly miserable. they should be enjoying a crazy adventure in space and time but instead they are moping around and the doctor has to drag them kicking and screaming from place to place.
