+1, I’ll bring the coffee.
As someone who wore that size as a kid, we prefer the term “festively-plump.”
I worked with an older service writer at a now defunct Lincoln-Mercury dealership that had been there since the early 70's. As one of the few stores in the area that sold Panteras, he and another employee’s duty was to meet them at the port terminal in the early morning hours and drive them back to the…
I’m not sure what IL salvage laws are, but the driver’s side fender is a replacement (blue on inner mounting point)and the recent paint job(lack of badging on the trunk-lid) looks a little suspect; parts car at best. CP.
While I’m in the age range this remake is targeted toward and nostalgia is powerful drug (as the Ad pushes for), I just don’t think the new release will evoke the same sort of reactions the original did.
Why do I see this becoming the next series of “Jason Drives?”
Looks like they’re in over their head; low-ball an offer, throw it together and drive it until it rattles apart. NP.
Galactus?
I love the looks, crazy power and it appears likes it handles well, but I can’t help but ask what is it’s closest competitor? With more power than the ZL1, better handling than the Hellcat but too heavy to be a super-car competitor, it seems to be on it’s own.
The late 70's were a dark time for Ford’s pony car.....
So that’s how civil service works, thanks School House Rock!
Too many questions on quality of work and no proper prep prior to painting, CP.
Since the rear-end will be taking a lot of abuse, does it have a differential cooler?
$8750 will buy a lot of crack, too bad they won’t get it.
Don’t rustle it too much.
I can forgive a few historical inaccuracies here and there, but something that’s gnawing at me is the lack of genuine salt-of-the-earth car nuts on the cast and crew. I realize this isn’t a documentary but a quick look at the IMDB page for it shows no technical/historic consultants. Parnelli Jones, John Morton(worked…
NP only because you could easily get it down below the asking price. There’s no market for these things and it can be made into a sleeper without feeling guilty.
Worked for G.I. Joe, why not here?
1996 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 I bought from my parents. Dad always made sure mom’s car was garaged and the paint even with over 107K on it still looked nearly as good as when they bought used in 98' or 99' with 30k on it.
