What's the problem here? They didn't have stock available for everyone, so they chose a method that rewarded their customers and probably also cut down on scalping. They probably got more consoles in the hands of gamers who actually wanted them than went to people who just want to flip them. 

There is a difference between in world, passive advertising (what was in burnout paradise) and active advertising that interrupts the experience. I hope we can find out what these games are, so we can actively avoid them.

Burnout Paradise had in game billboards that advertised real products that would change every month or so. I remember they had Obama for president campaign billboards too. That was what, 13 years ago?

Brands don’t deserve the loyalty of fans and this is why. Fan created maps based on a 20 year old game only provides free advertising for MGM, there is nothing malicious or profit making to be had by the fan here.

This is really upsetting.
