Sadly, the goal usually isn't making us think “this advertisement has given me a positive impression of Product A,” it’s about muttering “Product A, Product A, Product A” into our ears so often that when we think about that kind of product, we think about Product A. Or if we’re picking between them in the store, we…
It might have just been down to starting position, but I loved the remixed See Saw I got earlier. Splitting everybody into two groups at the very start made it a lot smoother.
Torrents aren’t network-specific.
“Live Free or Die” already sounds like something you’d find in intricate metalworked script on an assassin’s gauntlet.
I totally agree, although this is one of the things we can't get upset at EA for, since this isn't them. Their basketball series has been on life support since 2009, with over half of them being cancelled or never even announced.
I don’t watch him or Fortnite, but my understanding is that he’s reasonably good and does well in normal public games, but isn’t a real strong tournament contender like the big names from more purely competitive scenes like the FGC with SonicFox. This isn’t a perfect comparison, but Ninja is more like Maximilian Dood…
So you're saying you play as the anime girls? Because the trailer led me to believe you play as a sentient pile of slashing and exploding animation effects.
I don't think your experience is as universal as you think it is.
There’s one part that sounds like Ryu’s theme, and one part that sounds like Guile’s theme. Which I’m not knocking or anything, music’s wild like that. I hadn’t heard it before, cool song.
8BitDo’s last stick was actually pretty nice, as far as budget sticks go. I picked up a “broken” one to use in a project, and came away pleasantly surprised. I was planning to replace everything in there, but the generic/clone buttons were good enough that I just kept them.
This was definitely some garbage-ass commentary, but have you ever heard Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson when they get bored calling an NBA game or decide that one or both teams aren’t playing in accordance with their old man values? It’s not quite fart noises, but it’s about as close as you can get while still…
I dunno, the combat looks pretty similar to other “Souls-like” games from the last couple years, and specifically similar to Jedi Fallen Order to me. It’s definitely different from Dark Souls III, but that’s a four and a half year old game.
The author really dropped the ball here. So much of the article was totally incomprehensible. Like “picking up steam.” I’m not some kind of train conductor nerd, Kotaku!
Oh, that sounds like Blacktastic. If so, Bobby's one of my favorite follows on Twitch. Plays lots of Castlevania and Bloodstained super duper well, great chat interaction, really entertaining dude, and organizes tournaments for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. Big-time recommend.
Thanks for the review. It seems good and fair, and confirms that these aren’t really the sets for me, as I’m a boring, stodgy old jerk who just wants to build display pieces. But it looks like it could be a real blast for the people who actually enjoy playing with their toys more than I do.
Human rights are cool and all, but have you seen this new Hearthstone expansion?!
No, this is the company that took a massive cowardly shit on human rights by carrying water for an oppressive government that’s abusing its citizens.
I agree with 100% of this, and over the course of the last week I talked myself down from ordering (or trying to order) a Pocket in this first wave. But it’s worth pointing out that Analogue often goes months (or sometimes years) between production runs of a given item. I decided that I’d be okay with waiting that…
Yep, spoonTRex is correct, I was talking about controllers [edit: and I apologize for being vague in my initial post]. Outside of maybe a couple of games that handle controller processing in weird ways, and some accessory problems (can’t use a Dualshock 2 with a PS1 multitap, for example), you can use Dualshocks - and…
