Pretty sure that’s a Lambo, dude

definitely a Ford Super Duty!

Abby and Jose got nothing on Wyatt’s Towing here in CO.

Sushi Den in Denver is awesome.

Spots like these/BILL NYE is/are THE reason most people in the last 3 generations even know about climate change or green anything.

You mean the Mexican-built truck is kicking ass and taking names of two competitors built in Alabama, right?

Hard argument to make now that you can downloads maps to use offline.

Just going to leave this here -

What I was trying to say:

I used to do work like this. we had a guy at the docks that would call when a container ship full of TV/VCR combos would come in, he would tell me what truck and what highway it was on

What was he thinking?  If he wanted to kill people without consequence in Colorado, the Aurora PD is -right there-

Looking at the topology now it’s not “perfectly flat” but it feels flat compared to what you just drove down. You basically come out of a fast winding downhill and end up on a wide, straight road on the far western edge of Denver. There’s a number of large fields on this stretch that he could have driven his truck

I’m honesty surprised how quickly the aftermarket jumps on this shit.

Of course all of that PFAS fire foam leaches straight into our ground water and no one is responsible. Hurray cancer!

i did the trip from silverton to animas forks in a ‘94 chrysler LHS. got some bewildered looks from the jeep bros.

Jason’s summary quite garbled what the topic was. Several Senators have floated the idea of assessing a tax on unrealized gains; Musk was simply pointing out that based on his financial situation, he would need to sell shares to pay that assessment. There currently is not a tax on unrealized capital gains.

If you buy shares long and are certain that IPOs go back down in the first few weeks (you are correct), why the hell wouldn’t you just wait for it to be on sale and buy at a lower cost basis?

I imagine Glen Canyon would bring lots of tourists after the lake is gone, but I wonder if you could go a step further and make it a National Park too. The “Mighty Five” already draw enormous amounts of tourists in Utah, and adding another would likely drive tourism as well to replace the boating business.

You're a legend.
