I’ve heard the same, but the 5-6 people I’ve talked to all had the range extender and the issues were related to the combustion electrics.

Alltrack version, please. I’d be camping at the local dealer...

To be fair, I saw a camouflaged one yesterday in traffic on I-70, and there is still a decent amount more sidewall compared with other modern Rovers.

Stared at this (very good) profile shot for entirely too long. It’s making me feel ways and things.

Holy shit... I mean, I didn’t expect to be in tears at my desk today.

Yeah, and they’re also generally smaller and less obtrusive to the airflow through and around the front of the car.

If you mean outdoor electrical outlet like this house, then yes?

Wait, so they were “visiting a friend” when they noticed they were out of juice, and their friend wouldn’t let them leave the car there to charge?

It’s literally the VW powertrain warranty. You can buy this car, walk over to the service department and they’ll flash the APR+ tune onto your car.

Niche, as in the entire front range of Colorado. I swear there are almost as many Alltracks here as there are Outbacks. Which is nice.

With the VW warranty-approved APR+ tune, you basically have a GTI wagon in either of these vehicles.

Had my E39 do that with the main tailgate actuator. What a PITA!

We’re getting into Rule 34 territory here...

Most of the mountain towns in CO have free charging points all over their downtowns, so the issue is smaller than you may think. Sure, driving 200 miles out to camp is definitely a no-go, but for day-tripping there should be no issue

Obviously, but the original picture he posted was most definitely not a Corvette transaxle drivetrain.

Not in the original picture he posted, which was a steel frame with a Corvette engine, some transmission, no torque tube, and a rear differential.

Not sure what you’re trying to illustrate with this picture of a frame with definitely an engine/transmission up front and a rear differential out back...

It’s a stick of anti-seize.

Hmmm, for a NP $7500 I would have hoped for the 2.8 XWD instead of the Ecotec. This seems like a decent price if fasteners aren’t rust-welded together but as is it lands dead between the two options. Just a car here.

Where does the phrase ‘Keep Austin Weird’ come from? In all of my time there, it’s one of the least weird municipal areas in the south...
