This is giving me feelings...

They’ll get one tomorrow

Crash performance should be much easier meet when there isn’t an engine block between the passengers and the front beam.

Perhaps some blame can be laid on employers who didn’t close, and don’t allow “weather” as a reason to skip work? I know that mine (a very large, Denver-based co.) didn’t say anything about going home until the roads were already getting snowy and icy. Luckily, I’m also an engineer and don’t really care so I worked

Jeez, my S2000 is half as much as my CRV to insure, and that’s with $100 deductibles on both vehicles!

I agree. Like one of those gigangic “fighter pilot” watches for your car!

I saw it at X-Games and I want one of these trucks badly. Like, Sell-my-fleet-to-buy-one bad. Not sure I’ve ever said that about any truck ever.

Oh man, it looks like a rebirth of the dash in my 1979 Civic! The horizontal wood has always been the best

YESSSSSS the only acceptable use for the heel of the bread

Hell, if they could eliminate the torque dip it would probably be a way better car to drive anyway!

While all the systems and heaters are active, yes.

Even if he swapped it back after the video, those wheel bearings are going to be in a bad way...

I grew up with a 1958 Dodge Sierra Wagon that had one, and the transmission was push-button operated!

The Alltrack is also essentially a lifted Golf R underneath, with the exception of the 1.8T powerplant. The rear subframes and suspension between the 4-motion Sportwagen and the Alltrack are different.

The VQxx IS surprisingly big, but this picture is deceiving; the VQ has a full harness, hoses, and accessory group while the LS does not.

Tax, not interest.

Last night I did a crazy thing and scheduled a test drive on Friday at my local Buick dealer to try and do a weekend evaluation!

Sounds like you’ve never actually used the VW system, which has been nowhere near awful, and actually fairly awesome when using Android Auto (Source: GF has a Golf R)

I really like the pricing of the TourX vs Alltrack SEL (gotta have the lighting package!) but I worry about interior quality and the infotainment sucking on the Buick...

The real question here is: TourX vs VW Alltrack DSG?
