Actually, the Blue Jays did not score three in the 6th. They scored one in 3rd and two in the 6th.

The series is headed back to Toronto, where the Blue Jays must win to stay alive.
It’s all part of the 12-step program. Just as soon as you’re 12 steps out of the building, they fire your ass.
I like the subtle fistbump in the background.
Who’s rooting for a Rangers/Mets series to see Colon pitch to Fielder?
Dallas fans have learned to be able to translate for Jerry after this many years. We are a lot like Barbara Billingsley being able to understand jive in Airplane!
Guess the team should have played better if they game mattered so much to them. The bat flip had no effect on the outcome other than making the Twins look like petulant children for bitching about it.
I don’t know, if he’s such a shitty player, then that pitcher must be really shitty to let him hit a homer (or what does that tell you about the team being down 10-1 then).
Nope. Sorry. If Molitor’s having a bad day, he needs to yell at his players. Adults who scream at people because of background shit that is not those people’s fault are immature babies who need to get their shit together. Ramirez did his job well. Molitor would be well served to get his own players to do theirs’ well…
I don’t follow baseball much. But from my point of view, even if the intentional walk was NOT a slight to the subsequent batter, he should be allowed a little celebration. I don’t know of a single competitive activity from war to scrabble to sports to dating, where you don’t gloat a little when your opponent’s…
I know this is two different sports but when james harden murdered ricky rubio’s ankle last year with a nasty crossover and then hit the three on him Rubio didn’t get but hurt about it. And Harden did his signature three point sign clearly showing him up but no one said “ hey James Harden you deserve a clothesline…
That’s because you don’t grasp baseball. The pitcher intentionally walked the guy before him. Ask a friend who knows what that means, then think about why the hitter was overjoyed to hit a homerun.
Meh. They intentionally walked the guy in front of him to put a runner in scoring position. That’s equally disrespectful. And, I’m wading into the muddy waters of unwritten rules, but:
If you’ve just been disrespected, I feel like you’re justified in rubbing your success in the other teams face.
This comment deserves more love.
It’s, you know, almost like they showed HIM up first.
Did the rules of baseball change?
I thought hitting a home run was the opposite of being shitty at your job.
I thought losing by 9 runs means you’re being shitty at your job.
Maybe you’re defending people who are shitty at their jobs, because you’re one. Solidarity and all that.
Am I applying your “logic” correctly?
When you intentionally walk a batter and the next batter hits a homerun, yeah that guy is going flip the fucking bat and enjoy it, because by not pitching to the hitter ahead of him, you are declaring him to be a shitty hitter. And a hitter will almost always take offense to that.
I fucking hate it when people try and have fun while playing baseball
Throw another tire on that ferocious shit storm they call the Washington Nationals. Uglier than a car full of babies smashing into a car full of puppies.
National Congressman gets Choked out, Suspended from Ceiling, Likes it
