Sadly, it's like looking 50 years into the future...I felt the same way while watching 'Gran Torino' this past weekend. But my being a bitter curudgeon is my own doing.

I had the same feeling — here I was, some nerdy guy lying on the floor, looking underneath some of the cars, leaning just right to get the ropes or a support beam out of the picture. Unfortunately, now that I think about it, I may have taken all my photos on my old phone...which I no longer have...oh well, that just

I have pictures from similar angles from when I was at the same museum last December. The car is rather alluring and photogenic!

Okay, I'm clearly missing the punchline here...can someone help me out?

I agree...what happened to Ashley and the barn-find RX-7???

Yep...felt it in my office in Ballantyne. A strange feeling when you're not used to such things.

This one, although the exact picture was the one in the 1984 Olds catalog of the burgundy Regency Brougham in front of the concert hall. Sigh....

We'll I'm just on a roll, aren't I :)

Yeah, double facepalm applies here for more than one reason.....

Olds Toronado with the original CHMSL setup.

Finally — a Cadillac I'd replace my current Deville with and have no hesitation. Sure, I could get me a CTS or STS, but they don't have same the gravitas as this concept. This, Cadillac, this is definitely where you should be headed. If this were your Deville replacement, I'd be in the dealership tomorrow.

It's been a while since I've been so inspired — well done, jpech! Maybe this will finally be the kick in the pants I've needed to go test drive a Mustang or Challenger this weekend......

I wish they'd change names, too, especially back to real names.

WINNING!

A-goodness, a-gracious, great balls of fire!

I don't know the answer, but I appreciate the CHiPs reference and your memory! I must have missed that episode...sounds like it would have stood out.

I'm not picking up on it — what's it familiar to?

I was coming up with nothing until I saw your post.....so I'm going to piggyback on it and give the M1 my vote too.

Love it! Excellent job, good sir! What a great way to start the weekend (for both of us).

I'll third it. This is my kind of humor! Love it!
