I'll admit that I'm fairly naive, but.....how the hell would it cost Euro 4mm to get the advanced airbags into the car? It's not like anyone makes their own airbags — auto suppliers around the world make them for car companies. I guess the 4mm number is an estimate of the R&D time required to calibrate the airbag

Five bucks says Kwame Kilpatrick was involved, making this a real menage de troit.

That was my exact first thought too!

I'm surprised the Republicans aren't all over this tax cut.

2nd gear: You mean Ford is going to pay to fix all five Blackwoods on the road? Great news!

I'm prepared — BRING IT!

I agree — good luck to the seller.

My Maserati did 185.

Facepalm moment on my part...but...where's the missing piece? I've looked at all the pictures and can't seem to find it. I'm sure it's obvious and staring right at me...

I love the picture used as the 'title card.' I can't quite put my finger on it — maybe because it's from the 1960s, maybe because it's a Corvair like my mom drove — but I'm just so drawn to that picture! Nice job, Jalopnik Art Department.
