@Jesda: Niiiiiice...although I must say that Julia Boorstin is the one I always gape open-mouthed at on the TV.

@Buickboy92: I think I'm in love...
Okay — I've read the link and every comment below, and I'm still rather confused. Maybe if I explain a couple of situations, someone wise here will tell me how this law would affect me?
@MikeTheRipper12: Exactly what I was thinking...
I like big butts and I can not lie
See, this is what I miss. I actually like each of the cars appearing in this commercial. And hey, the Regal could get pretty sporty by '83 or so, depending on what boxes you checked.
@tonyola: Yep, had one of those sensors (crank, if I recall correctly) go bad on my '90 Park Ave. And really, I thought I'd never say this...but I really do miss the tufted velour in my '85 Park Ave. Sure, leather is nice...but I'm beginning to think it's just a real pain in the ass. My Deville has 61k on it, and…
@wheatieboy: Thank you. I'm generally of the same mindset, which is why I would never hesitate to get into a Panther or Grand Cherokee.
@ranwhenparked: I know I've gushed about Park Avenues before (hell, just look at my user name)...but the '90 I had (last year of the previous generation) was the best damned car I've owned. Better than the '85 I had (first year of the previous generation...they needed time to work some things out), and even better…
Funny — I gave away a Starbucks gift card at work yesterday to the first staff person who could tell me the largest displacement engine ever put in a factory Eldorado...and up comes this today!
@FromaBuick6: Ugh, I hate those web addresses too. Pennsylvania has to be the worst offender.
Growing up, the seven years between each issue of the Georgia plates seemed to take forever. I don't really know what happened there, but there are now three "standard" designs floating around, which (please someone correct me if I'm mistaken) resulted from changes in a short amount of time, without issuing new…
@HoonThatFerrari-isNowHooning a Maserati: I actually saw one of those here in Charlotte last Friday...kind of a tan color with brown lower parts. I knew it was something special even from far away when I saw five silver letters above the grill...
@JaysonAych: +17 for you. Absolutely wonderful, and I wish I had a chance to drive such a rare automobile. People can say what they want about diluting a brand, but the Cougar sedan and Villager (see above) are damn nice looking cars.
This is my absolute favorite one. I got one like this when I was about 2, and its real-world rarity makes it all the more special. Of course, I lovingly drove this car, such that it bears the scars of time. Still, even though mine doesn't have that showroom shine anymore, I wouldn't part with it for the world.
@BrtStlnd: Giggity.
This sure sounds a lot like the Pan story...
I've been dying for some time to get a smallish truck...probably because my dad got a Ranger a couple of years ago. It would be quite a change for me to go from a Cadillac de Ville to a pickup truck, but that's another post.
@rodrigotrigo: Parkave231 would promote this comment if he had the ability.
@Elhigh: Hell, I'd be happy if they'd just drop the 2.5 out of the Escape into the Ranger. It's just a slightly bored and stroked 2.3, I think, so I can't imagine it would be that much of a stretch.
