“Our darling Katie”?!?!?!?!?
“Our darling Katie”?!?!?!?!?
I mean, it should be, “Oh look, here’s some nudes, great. Now let’s talk about their climate policy.”
I’ve been thinking since the implication that it existed that Elliot’s missing third persona is going to be a female one. Not just because it’s unexpected, but also because it provides such interesting parallels with White Rose.
This and that episode where Elliott spent a day with that kid. This show is at its best when it strips away all the high-tech wizardry and focuses on the characters. Also I died when Tyrell said he had a rock in his shoe.
I love Mr Robot because it shows how hard it is for Elliot to deal with people on a regular basis and how lonely he is. I regularly think “it’s not that bad, he has Mr Robot to back him up!” Then I remember Mr Robot’s not real and Elliott is alone, and that’s kind of devestating.
The ending definitely doesn’t look like a metaphor for death. I think there’s actually something here; and Wellick is not out yet. If not then I can’t make sense of the glowing thing. maybe it’s related to Whiterose’s secret project.
I wonder if we’ll see both him and Angela again before things are over
No development on the third personality front? It DEFINITELY feels like the show wants us to think that somehow Tyrell was the third personality the whole time.
Well, if Cowboy Bebop taught me anything it’s that you can survive for hours after getting gutshot.
Dom’s story was the saddest (even compared to Tyrell dying). It was all about losing hope. Just as others found respite in the connection with people she lost all hers - one by one. She starts alone on Christmas Eve trying to masturbate to Darlene’s interrogation tapes and then it goes downhill from here. She dozes of…
All I wanted was a happy ending for Best Boy Wellick. I hope this ending means there's still something in the cards for him. But if it doesn't, I hope they add him to the "In Memorium" for all the characters we lost by the end of the series
LOVED this episode! Loved the score. Loved that they used The Motels and my favourite band, Concrete Blonde for the soundtrack. Loved the cinematography, which was gorgeous. Tod Campbell has been outdoing himself this year with a visually stunning season. And most of all, I absolutely loved that when Darlene is…
how tall is pete?
Bran is the Internet. Protect him!!
K, this was bound to happen at some point. The first elimination to truly hurt.
HOW was Shuga not chosen to at least be critiqued by the judges? She was the one queen (other than Yvie) that tackled the challenge in an atypical way.
I agree. Bizarrely I found this to be the worst episode of the season and I found the Trump “Rusical” to be one of the worst Rusicals ever. These lip synced musicals are painful to watch and I agree with you I’d rather see something like the Diva televangelists or a script that they wrote for themselves no matter how…
you’d think social media would make everyone more self aware but its 2019 and people are still writing sentences like this: “the act of getting up on stage in drag is a bold statement, challenging societal expectations and demanding to be seen”
groan.
I mean... I know how in the past I’ve said I hate quibbling about grades, and I hate hypocrisy, but this episode is in no way an A. The top grade. Hell, last week, despite having on the worst group performances, had one of my favorite sequences in the history of the show. These week had nearly none of the highs that…
I loved Joel McHale, but I enjoy a) him and b) what The Soup/The Joel McHale Show (RIP) was all about and c) anything that annoys/disagrees with Michelle Visage and d) the taking down a peg of the show that’s trying to simultaneously be different from reality tv while succumbing to it.
