Rewatching Unbreakable this week in preparation for this movie, I was really struck by how good Willis is in it. It’s a quiet, wounded performance but also one where you feel the bond between him and his son and the basic decency of this guy who really doesn’t understand himself. I wish we got that Willis more often.  

Elementary’s 7th season (premiering in 2019) may wind up being the swan song for the sleuthing duo of Sherlock and Joan.

The first three seasons of SpongeBob came out at just the right time for me. Silly cartoons made with zeal and just full of kindness. And absolutely quote-worthy. In particular, I remember this sequence as having blown-my-damn-mind when I first watched it. Here’s to the man. RIP.
