2006 was 17 years ago. The average age in Gaza is 18 years old. Most of the people the IDF is trying to genocide into oblivion did not choose Hamas because they weren’t old enough to vote.

This is definitely the vibe I get from most of Nintendo’s works: that the worldbuilding really doesn’t matter so long as it lends itself to interesting gameplay.

The Neir series does this VERY well. I’m playing Neir Replicant for the first time, and each subsequent playthrough gives you different/more dialog, cutscenes, lore, and context. 

This idea that it’s just Fallot in space is dumb. It’s more than that.

It feels like a failure of vision: a space game where exploration and distance don’t matter, an RPG with mechanics that only ever act as a meaningless gate, a shooter where each gun somehow feels the same, and a builder with useless rewards.

The biggest issues I have had with Starfield are mainly QoL and the procedurally generated content being way too consistent between planets.
