My PC, with it’s GTX 970, isn’t really 4k ready and next to upgrade is my ancient 2600 i7. Watchable media on 4k is a novelty to me. If I’m going 4k, it’s to game, and seeing as my PC is at least 2 upgrades away from being ready, I don’t think I’ll be getting anything 4k for at least a year.

I don’t get it either. I’ll cop to liking a few Disney movies, but the institution as a whole has a long heritage of racism among other things. Then there’s the corporate intensity of the escapism they provide. I’m down to get away from the bad news for awhile, but what Disney offers is so saccharine and manufactured.

I thought Destiny was fun. I didn’t play too much since I don’t have a current-gen console, but I liked watching people play it.

When someone says “egalitarianism over feminism,” I hear someone trying to put a white male face on a movement that’s about countering the privilege that allows said white male face to hijack a movement.

From what I understand, his ideologies are baked into the game, which barely misses what makes the cyberpunk genre so compelling.

Way bummed about this. I was excited by what I saw and just kept crossing my fingers that it wouldn’t be Destiny, but it’s Destiny.
