You make your case, and they’re not stupid, that it’s your first game. They have analytics and other player data to back that up and go, “Oh. This was his first game. He didn’t know. Next time, Gadget. Next time.”

That’s all he does. Change color. He doesn’t physically change though. He doesn’t grow Boomerangs from his ass after taking Quick Man’s power, or sprout wings after defeating Shade Man. That’s one issue people are questioning.

It comes down to people needing to look at the track records of the people starting a Kickstarter. You can see that information easily. How many have they created and how many have they backed. Helps show some legitimacy. I’ve hardly backed anything from someone without established records.
