It’s mostly the Cancel Culture effect. Musk’s recent actions and remarks have deeply, deeply offended the EV customer base: California residents and Liberals. Musk failed to consider that EV buyers now have a rapidly expanding range of highly competitive and advantaged EV sellers from which to choose besides Tesla.

My Subaru has CarPlay that I connect with a Motorola MA1 Wireless Android Auto Car Adapter. It’s always up to date. I don’t pay for a subscription. It works wonderfully well. And it’s much safer to use than the subscription service that I had in my Cadillac. So no need to consider GM anymore.

This is an article that features people that enjoy video gaming but think like responsible adults. They are rare, but they obviously do exist.

Or you can just get a Chromebook.

Wow, take a couple of Rolaids.

That’s how free markets work. Advertisers must think that it’s worth it. They’re paying for it.

Seems like a logical progression to an incremental development that tab group users now need and expect.

I’ve never encountered a problem casting from devices to a Chromecast in a hotel room. Not claiming that you don’t have a legitimate alternative experience, but more likely it’s just an “operator issue.”

Very nice article. The remap advice for the Caps Lock key hit a raw nerve with me. Google’s choice to eliminate this key seems to be a bone-headed stroke of insanity. The options for restoring it by remapping are all very poor because they all cause you to lose something that you need as much or more than the Caps

It depends, but generally you wouldn’t. It doesn’t make any sense if you have a physical keyboard. On the other hand, I’ve found that I prefer taking lengthy notes with a stylus on my Chromebook convertible. It just feels more natural, and it’s more efficient. The software converts my handwriting into type in

I’m a Chromebook user. So I installed both the Web version and the Android version of Google Meet. The Web version looks just fine. But the Android version won’t be usable because it opens and runs full screen only. That make it impossible to resize the app window or to drag the app window between the built-in display

All the “good” names were already taken. The auspicious name Hangouts was appropriate:

Google Voice hasn’t been involved or even mentioned in this mayhem over the years. Anything can happen, but I can’t imagine that Google could possibly have either the incentive or audacity to threaten Google Voice. Other than give it a Material Design facelift last year, Google pretty much ignores and neglects Google

If it weren’t for AoS and The Last Ship, both of which I watch mainly on Hulu, I’d have almost no need for for a TV. Both series have been written to feature suspenseful development against overwhelming odds and lots of unpredictable twists and turns in the plot. This keeps me looking forward to seeing every next

This feature is actually a blessing in disguise, but only if it uses an Intel processor. If so, a dead Mac may be upgraded to Chrome OS simply by installing CloudReady by NeverWare! Chrome OS will boot in five seconds, easily run with 4 GB or RAM, and never ever get buggered up like Windows or MacOS.

How to get Android apps running on your laptop: [1] Buy a Chromebook; [2] Enable Play Store; [3] Use Play Store. The article is a waste of whitespace.

Not sure why anyone needs this article except to fill white space. (1) Buy a Chromebook (2) Enable Play Store apps (3) Use Play Store.

If you overlook a few expected glitches here and there, I’ve had pretty much only positive experiences when running Play Store apps on my two-year-old Asus Flip. My next Chromebook will be the larger version of the Asus Flip. I’ve never owned a Samsung Chromebook, but I’ve learned enough about Samsung’s approach to
