Thank you so much! In turn, I very much appreciate and support the people who do weird shit on the internet.

Cecilia, I just want to say how much I appreciate your role as Kotaku’s resident Weird Shit People Do on the Internet reporter.
BULLSHIT. BULLSHIT. BULLSHIT.
Not that good at Tetris, eh?
They write articles like these because of shit like this.
I could say many things here. Most of them angry, many of them ill-advised, and a fair number better left unsaid at all.
What I will say is this:
My wife, my sister-in-law, my blood sister, my mother, my mother-in-law, and a number of other women in my life play games.
Some of them play RPGs, some play FPS titles, some…
Most of the responses to this article on Twitter that I’ve seen have been “Yeah, NO SHIT, stop pandering” as if the article doesn’t point out it’s specifically something video game journalists who are women deal with on a daily basis...
With comments like these, I question why I check the comment section.
A lot of the women in the industry that I follow on twitter, that are at E3, have already dealt with this kinds of stuff. Even from devs. So yeah, it seems people still beed to be reminded that women, even if you consider them hot or not, do play video games...
As a kid who only had a few games a year to play, Bubsy was one of the games I had the misfortune of choosing. I’m positive this Gear Project will also have a positive influence on Pokemon. “Distracting” yourself to work on side…

What, the Switch?
what if they all just bought their vitas?
I mean, I was going to suggest Mario Run or something but these work too I guess
I’m a long time nerd, and like Confused Nerd, I think I specialized myself out of a relationship with a non-gamer were I in to that sort of thing (which as it turns out, I am not).
It kinda bothers me that CN’s main question is ‘how do I get people to try the thing I like/am comfortable with so I can talk about it without feeling judged’ than how to better relate to people different from him.
I’m sorry, but this smacks of high school students (and their parents) saying that they can’t get a scholarship because they’re not a minority.
There are plenty of game design workshops and camps offered by numerous sponsors that are open to everybody. The reason why there are a just a few only open to specific…
