Plus wouldn’t it be weird to get an Avengers game where the line up wasn’t those characters?
It is ridiculously difficult to not hear Nolan North or Troy Baker these days.
What’s funny is that in the Avenger’s beta, there’s a part where you’re hiking with Kamala and Bruce Banner, who’s voiced by Troy Baker, in a forest area, and all I could see was Ellie and Joel from The Last of Us.
The issue I have is that they’re trying to make a game that looks like an extension of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, down to everything but the very actor likenesses themselves. There’s so many other ways they could’ve taken this game. Heck, aren’t there other configurations of The Avengers they could’ve used?
I’ve…
You’re in the BabyZone now, babyyyyy.
I’m sure there are some before this, but my memory is bad, so earliest I can remember is probably Dead Space 3. I absolutely loved the first two games, but then they tried to make the third one some sort of co-op/action/loot game and I just hated it. They took almost everything that made the first two games so unique…
Why would they remaster something originally intended to look retro?
I just re-bought it on Steam for like 80% off. Still enjoyable.
Here I go again, praising the beyond-stellar soundtrack of the less-than-stellar game, Remember Me. I can’t really pick a favorite from the whole soundtrack, but I guess this track sums up the feel of whole thing. A crazy cinematic orchestral score, lovingly ripped apart by some awesome glitch/digital edits. I love…
I think Horizon and The Last of Us Pt. 2 are neck and neck in my book. They both strike an impressive balance between art direction and technical achievement.
Art direction-wise, I think Ghost of Tsushima is fantastic. But up close and in the in-between moments, it’s not as great as I’d hoped it would’ve been. There are some locations and things that could’ve used more polish.
I.... actually enjoyed this fight?
It was a unique infected enemy, it was an abomination, and amalgamation of all the horrors of the infected. It felt like a big Resident Evil boss fight, and I was all for it.
It was giant horrific hodgepodge of infected, so of course you gotta dump all your ammo into it and keep…
Hmm. Now it looks like one of those placeholder cases that Gamestop uses. Maybe if it were a semi-translucent black like someone suggested below.
I think the only safe I missed was the one in the cockpit (?) of the abandoned ferry. I had just cleared the boat of infected and was searching for the safe combination, but didn’t realize I had went through a one-way door at the back of the boat and couldn’t get back to the safe. I was so annoyed.
I’m in a clan on PC of about 700 members, with about at least 200+ or so still pretty active. We’ve got raids going several times a day, almost every day of the week, in addition to other activities (Trials, IB, comp, sherpa’ing people through tougher exotic and pinnacle quests). Never have trouble finding some fellow…
I’m assuming they safely got to Catalina Island where the Fireflies should be. At least that’s what the updated title screen tells me.
To me, it’s that they’re trying to make it look like the cinematic universe, but straight-to-video. They honestly should’ve just gone in their own direction with the characters, like Insomniac’s Spider-Man game. The Avengers in this new game look like they’re trying too hard to be the MCU ones, and will never get…
Wow. I didn’t expect Origins to be placed at the top, but I’m all for it. Origins is probably my favorite AC game as well. The characters feel good, the setting is great, the combat is fun, and best of all, I still feel like an assassin. I’m also having fun replaying it since it was on sale a few weeks ago.
1am is pure D’Angelo goodness and my perfect lullaby as I play right before bed.
Even then, “sunsetting” isn’t as extremely dramatic as everyone is making it to be. Your old weapons aren’t going anywhere or disappearing, they just won’t useful in pinnacle activities where light matters. And even EVEN then, they could be re-useable in pinnacle activities in the future if Bungie decides to…
