I’m not the biggest fan of reboots... but I think this is one series that needs a serious reboot. For the love of god why can’t they just simplify the story a bit? It’s one thing to embrace insanity, it’s another thing to take something that started out so great, and then throw it in a blender and throw it against the

I’m probably answering my own question, but I feel like I missed this explanation in my game: Are the flashing red parts on enemy Titans their weakpoints? Or is it something else? Or nothing at all? Like I said, I don’t remember seeing any explanation for this when I was playing through singleplayer.

Weren’t there a few female bosses? Granted, I think one of them was a robot, but still. And I distinctly remember Briggs(?) – the commanding officer you’re trying to get certain information to – being female too. Were you not paying attention?

And I’m not sure what choosing your character would do for this game. It’s

The Division and Battlefield 1. God help me in BF1. I suck so hard. I want war bonds. I want XP. The game seeks to give neither to me.

Oh I should beat Thumper in PSVR too. Such a crazy game.

I think you might be playing/looking at The Division the wrong way, man.

I’m glad you appreciate the game in some way as you say, but if you’re gonna incorrectly oversimplify all aspects of the game, then I’m not sure there’s any point in attempting to have decent argument about the game with you.

Last night I returned to the DZ in 1.4 for the first time to complete the DZ assignment. I was in a tough firefight with some rioters in the VERY FIRST ZONE, but every minute or so I was checking my back to see if any potential rogues were coming up behind me to ruin my day. To my relief, it was a relatively empty DZ

“One piece of gear can cause you to change your entire skillset, which changes how you approach combat encounters. That simply isn’t true in the Division.”

So you’re saying that if I suddenly take off that 4th piece of Firecrest gear, my approach to combat encounters isn’t gonna change? Or that 4th piece of

Whether you like it or not, The Division has build diversity. In regards to your previous statement, if you’re playing The Division and you’re not fond of cover-bassed shooting, I’m not sure why you’re even playing The Division in the first place.

The Division’s Underground is similar to Diablo 3's Rifts. TD may not

To be honest I’m not well versed on what content was paid and not paid for The Division off the top of my head, other than Underground. Underground adds a new procedurally-generated dungeon mode to the game, not so much story content, but endgame content.

But really, when it comes down to it, the only new thing those endgames are doing is making you chase the “best player” goal, and that’s only if you care about PvP. Other than that, you’re still just acquiring loot to acquire loot in Destiny and Diablo 3.

And what are those reasons?

True, but it also took time for D3 to get to that point. I’m not saying The Division is anywhere near D3's quality in terms of gameplay and whatnot, and I’m not sure if it ever will be. But let’s not forget a few points:

1.) The Division is a new type of game for Ubisoft/Massive. They’re very much learning new things

What’s cool is that, if you like the DZ, there’s a new gear set that makes it so you don’t lose DZ exp/credits and you take 10% less damage from Rogues in the DZ.

Just be warned that this 1.4 patch focused MAINLY on PvE changes, and not PvP. So although there’s a new set that allows you to venture into the DZ a bit

“Unfortunately, I still don’t see much reason to getting the loot, beyond advancing a world tier so I can get more loot to advance to the next world tier to get more loot to advance to the next...”

Well, if people loved doing it in Diablo 3, then they’ll love doing it here. Which is funny, because TD’s change reminds

I’ve been getting teal drops frequently in the LZ. I love 1.4. Very happy with Massive for making the effort to try to turn The Division around. It’s working for me.

Now if they could only fix the new screen lag/stuttering issues...

Yes, the world outside of the DZ (which many now call the LZ – “Light Zone”) spawns tougher enemies and also named enemies, which respawn after 4 hours. It’s essentially a lighter, PvE only Dark Zone.

I’d say if the DLC’s content interests you, then sure, buy it. But the game’s (if you like the base game) still fun without it, in my opinion.

It’s not so much that r/TheDivision is a tough crowd to please. It’s that the game was in such a bad state for a long time that everyone was pissed. You want a tough crowd? Look at r/NoMansSky.

I’m quite the opposite. Bought RoI. Played for about a week getting my LL up. Got the Iron Gjalla and Kovostov. Realized I don’t really have the time or want the effort of finding a group for the new raid. Lost interest and started a new game of FO4.

Then Festival of the Lost starts, I jump back in, get the new black

Aubrey Plaza.
