The "twist" left me mixed. At first I felt deflated by the revelation, but just a bit… because even beyond the mystery element being gone, the second part of the book was a very poignant psychological mind-bender that I really enjoyed.

I didn't play a lot of new games this year, but I really liked DmC. It was more fun than the earlier PS2 games, and the reduced challenge was a big plus for me. I don't like mind numbingly difficult games.
I'm so happy that Gone Home is on here. I loved it so much. I felt so moved playing it. Nostalgia, amazing storytelling through all the various notes, fantastic voice acting, wow. Well worth the $20 price tag.
