Lol, they are an angry bunch this week, it seems.

Yeah, because ‘Turkish’ will never be associated with anything gay...

All those spices and you still had to be salty.

How can a factory worker, tradesman, or a trash collector work remotely?

Not having children isn’t always a choice. Someone could want children but have fertility problems, or want children but not have been able to partner up successfully and start having a family.

I find it sad that so many people equate caring for their new child with taking care of someone with a terrible illness. Having a child is supposed to be a happy thing.

Wait, so now it’s wrong for me to point out that parental leave is a right and is different from just taking a vacation? I guess that’s what happens when you are determined to get bent out of shape no matter what the other person says.

I’m not the same poster, but at my last job the bulk of my department was women of childbearing age (myself included, although I have no children) and somebody was always pregnant. (Or getting married. I spent so much money on wedding and baby shower gifts, and I didn’t even like many of my coworkers.) Toward the end

Those are not requirements of maternity leave. No one checks to make sure if you have an easy or difficult baby to decide if you get maternity leave. No one checks to make sure you don’t have family staying with you helping you out.

The tone was a bit insulting— “Deal with it” and calling yourself a rational person without kids implies that I’m being irrational. You’re right, though; you were actually pretty mild compared to the other people, so I didn’t mean you as much as them.

Because when those parents are leaving work early, taking off a day every week to stay home because jr. can’t go to day care.... well it’s fucking exhausing too. Remember, some’s trapped at work cleaning up for eveyone NOT at work. Why should that always & only be the childless people?

Ew, who goes to Coachella?

I assume that if you have a child it’s because you want to, right? No one is forcing me not to have one, as I assume no one is forcing you to have one. I simply would like, should time off ever be mandatory, not to be left out because I don’t have children.

Research has found that having a child boosts men’s careers. Dads get a “fatherhood bonus.

Then people who don’t have children should also get mandatory time off, to be taken for any event they choose. I certainly don’t want to be stuck doing all the work and getting no time off for important things in my life because I don’t have children.

Well shit, maybe we should all just stop having kids and move on to a child-farming scheme straight out of our favorite dystopian nightmare.

Sushi donut? Is that like a sexual thing?

I love gummi burgers:

Lord and Taylor bahahahahaha

WHAT’RE WE CALLING THEM? T-HIDDLES? TIDDLES? LORD AND TAYLOR?
