The palette looks pretty much the same as 1985. Which is to say, tacky.

OK, please don’t take this as racist, but I honestly thought he looked Italian or Catalonian. I’m third generation Portuguese from the Azores and my grandparents, my mom, aunts and uncles are as dark as he is.(I’m super white thanks to my dad) Many Mediterranean peoples are that dark.

I think there was also that cavalier spirit among the wealthy, that they were the bravest and most valorous and most fit to lead. They thought it would lead to glory on top of their wealth and power. I think the Civil War put the lie to that idea. Were any Vanderbilts, Stanfords or Rockefellers great military heroes?
