Regular Barq’s does have caffeine. It’s just in Freestyle machines it does not (see what I said above).

The reason for this is simple. Diet Barq’s is caffeine-free. Since they both use the same flavoring, but differ on the sweetener added, both are caffeine-free in the Freestyle machine.
