“ Mixing it with jam is disgusting.”
“ Mixing it with jam is disgusting.”
I agree. I’ve been a Costco shopper for ~15 years and have never taken a sample. The store is busy enough without people blocking aisles to try a sample of something they will probably never buy.
I’ve been an analyst in the auto industry for 15 years. Cheap Chinese cars have been “coming next year” for my entire career. I’m not going to say it will never happen, but I’m at the point where I’ll believe it when I see it.
There is no way they will abandon the hybrid model, they struck gold with that idea. Then again this is Nintendo we are talking about, and they sometimes make nonsensical moves. I agree with you though, this is a great format. I personally play docked 99.5% of the time, and my kid plays handheld the majority of the…
Fools? I’m no defender of some of Nintendo’s nonsensical moves, but I don’t see why buying the new console would make someone a fool. I personally don’t care at all what the specs of the console are. My number one question is whether or not the games are fun, and that is something Nintendo has delivered on…
There are certainly differences between models, but they are not appreciably larger than they were 7 years ago. I have plenty of youngsters in my family, I have a lot of firsthand experience with them.
This slideshow is incorrect, as many models listed here are built in Canada by CAW workers, not in the US by UAW workers.
A lot of the vehicles on this list are built in Canada by workers who are represented by the CAW, not the UAW. I see the notation on the first slide, but the article headline is incorrect.
I had two car seats in a modern sedan. It wasn’t ideal and I’ve since moved on from a sedan, but it was absolutely workable.
I’m not one to tell other people what to drive, but modern car seats still fit fine in a midsize or up sedan. My youngest is 7, and car seats aren’t larger than when she was rear-facing. When she was an infant I drove a Fusion and my wife drove a Focus. Her rear-facing seat fit just fine in my Fusion. I’m 5'10 and if…
I wouldn’t mind having a tiny third row as it would only be for occasional human use, a dog, or cargo on a trip.
I have two kids (10 and 7) and a 40 pound dog. We take several road trips every summer and manage in a Chevy Equinox. I will add the caveat that we do use a rooftop carrier for these trips, the Equinox would not work for us if we didn’t have it.
We definitely don’t have a shortage of good beer available in Michigan, which is part of the reason I never really sought out Anchor Steam.
Money can’t buy happiness, but it sure can reduce stress. In the past I lived on a tight budget. I am now very fortunate to have a good career, and after a promotion a few years ago I make north of $100k in a place where that is considered a good income. Money buys peace of mind. I don’t live in fear of my water…
The island has a longstanding motor vehicle ban. What is an e-bike that doesn’t have to be peddled if not a motor vehicle?
Do you have firsthand experience with Mackinac Island? An e-bike going along at 20mph wouldn’t be much of an issue in the less-populated portions of the island, but I absolutely see them being a safety hazard in the parts that draw crowds.
I’ve never come across it in settings like that. I don’t think I’ve ever even seen it available at a bar or restaurant. I live in Michigan, I’d imagine it was probably more popular out west.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think Mackinac Island is the crown jewel of the Midwest; I also don’t think you gave it an accurate portrayal. I’d personally rather hike trails at Sleeping Bear than visit Mackinac Island, but I do find the island to be an enjoyable place to visit.
I cut my craft beer teeth on Boston Lager and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I’ve sort of rediscovered both of them lately. They are both damn fine beers that can be overlooked with all of the offerings that have come since.
