I’m shocked games have remained at $60 for so long. That was the standard new release price for games back in the N64/PS1 era. If I adjust $60 in 1999 for inflation it comes out to $110 in today’s dollars. When I think of all of the hours my son and I will get out of TotK,$70 is a steal.

I would have liked to have seen Super Mario World on this list. It was the first 16-bit game many of us played, and I can still remember how awestruck I was at how good the game looked. It still looks gorgeous today. I’m sure those younger than me would never be blown away by turning that game on for the first time,

I honestly don’t understand why anyone would subject themselves to this when you can buy it digitally without leaving home. I also recently turned 40, and I am fighting to reduce the amount of physical things I own, not add to them. To each their own I guess.

I’m gonna get me an oversized guitar, gain forty pounds and be the next D

I think the weapon breaking system is okay in some other games, such as Elder Scrolls. In those games the weapons degrade slowly and realistically, and can be repaired. The degradation in BotW happened far too quickly, and took me out of the immersion. It could also be that Hyrule’s blacksmiths had no idea how to

People have been overworked and underpaid for most of human history, and still are in most parts of the world. There is something else behind this.

You should check on the definition of caramelized onions. These are not caramelized onions.

Leave Arthur out of this. I would have zero happy memories of my late uncle if I weren’t allowed to find the antics of alcoholics amusing.

Today I learned that King of the Hill is anime. Apparently.

Same, although you (and I) should be fine if you cook the flour. I’ve been making a lot of bread lately and there has been no temptation to taste the raw dough. If I decide to make cookies prior to my flour cannister running out I’ll have to forgo eating the raw batter.

Where is the article about Willie Nelson’s two night 90th birthday concert? There were some cool performances there.

Yeah, calling these products “Viagra” is incredibly misleading.

You still change your oil after 3k miles? No manufacturer has recommended that for decades.

Regarding oil changes, I’ve always wondered how much time vs mileage matters. Our car doesn’t get driven a whole lot of miles most of the time. The oil life gets to 0% due to time, and there are always thousands of miles left before it would hit that limit. I always delay oil changes for this reason.

I second what another commenter replied with. I use my snow blower to clear a walking path across my lawn from the driveway to the front door. It works perfectly fine.

Eh, I give a bit of a pass to them simply because it seems like something Hetfield needed to do to get through that time of his life. It’s not an album I revisit often though. When I do it’s only to see if it’s as bad as I remember it being. It is.

I could live with the terrible production if there was actually lead guitar on that album, that’s what really kills it for me. There are some decent riffs, but when you play them ad nauseum with no interesting leads or solos to break them up they get old real fast.

I said it in another comment, but they listed the wrong “fire” song. Fight Fire With Fire is absent from this list, which is a crime IMO.
