In my view that is fair, but I also realized my opinion is very biased. The genius behind it all was Petty’s songwriting, but I don’t think he’d have reached the level of success he did if he hadn’t had the Heartbreakers behind him to bring his vision to life.

I’d probably rank them first, The Stones second, and Prince third, but I fully realize my opinion is strongly biased.

People seem to forget that while these films are enjoyable to people of all ages, a large portion of their audience is children. Most kids don’t give a shit about the series stopping after a logical endpoint and will just be happy to have new stories featuring characters they like.

Counterpoint: On the rare occasion I buy coffee outside of the house it is simple drip coffee. I don’t feel obligated to tip a wage worker for that. I’m sure they are underpaid, but the business should raise their price instead of expecting me to make up for it out of my personal guilt.
