You need to consider GM’s customer base in your statement. GM’s bread and butter, and profits, derive from trucks and SUVs. They obviously understand that the Hummer EV is a high-price, low-volume vehicle. The purpose of it isn’t to sell in volume, but to demonstrate to their core customers that EVs don’t have to be

Smaller and less expensive EVs are coming, just look at the future product lineups of most major OEMs. Many led with the big behemoths to try and change the perception of EVs as being weak little shitboxes.

For me you can’t separate the fight scenes from the events surrounding them. I was a lot more emotionally invested in the story when Luke fought Darth Vader in Empire Strikes Back than I was with anything in the prequels, therefore the scene is more memorable to me.

Upset would be a vast overstatement.

I’ve only ever watched the prequels one time each around the time they came out. I remember very little about them, and I don’t recall this scene. It clearly wasn’t that memorable to me :)

You can still purchase these on physical media. I bought a couple of Looney Tunes collections on blu ray a few years back and I’m really glad I did. I still own most of my favorite movies and TV shows on discs. When they are available to stream I watch them that way due to convenience, but it’s sure nice to actually

Sorry, but having a #1 choice outside of the original trilogy invalidates these rankings.

Lenny Kravitz already designed his.

I agree with this, although it does have its place as a laundry deodorizer.

I trust your calculation. I guess I’m not thinking strictly in terms of the actual protein content, but in something being the main protein for a meal. Three eggs is a filling protein main for me.  I don’t know how the protein content of those eggs would compare to the amount of chicken I would consider to be a

Barkeepers friend (either liquid or powder) works great on stovetops. It’s active ingredient is just citric acid, so you don’t have to worry about dealing with nasty odors like some other cleaners. Skip the hacks and just buy a product designed for cleaning.

We switched to buying free-range eggs quite a while ago, so were already used to paying more for eggs. In my area we pay about $7 for a carton of those eggs. It’s a lot more than we used to pay for standard grocery store eggs, but it’s still a good value compared to other animal proteins.

It’s understandable that would be the opinion of someone who it went well for.

I live in the Detroit area and there was a (locally) famous case of this with a local news anchor.

When we were in our 20's my wife and I were both 120% certain we wanted lasik, but it was cost prohibitive. Now that we are a bit older and can afford it we’ve both decided the risks don’t outweigh the downsides of dealing with contacts.

Curb Your Enthusiasm not even cracking the top half of the list is very questionable.

You’re forgetting another category that includes people like me; people who want a low-effort way to play these games.

No “Unlimited Love” by RHCP? Frusciante’s return to the band resulted in a fantastic album. I’m also old and apparently out of touch. That’s not a huge change from when I was young and out of touch.

Regarding LED Christmas lights, most of them still look like garbage compared to incandescent versions, especially the colored lights. I wish people would refuse to buy the current LED offerings so that the manufacturers would have reason to improve their product. I would like make the switch, but the colored LED

I don’t know if I agree with many of these. Take “It’s a Wonderful Life”. The movie is certainly full of emotion, but it has a happy ending. To me that isn’t a sad movie. It would have been a sad movie if George Bailey had actually died by suicide, or if he’d be thrown in prison at the end.
