Not as good as East Coast pizza? I kinda disagree. While I don’t dislike any pizza, I find NY style to be way overrated. It’s nice for a change once in a while, but 9/10 times I’d prefer a deep dish. By deep dish I do not mean Chicago style.

I’m convinced that the term “Detroit style” is nothing but a marketing ploy invented ~10 years ago. I’m not saying Detroit style isn’t distinct, I simply never remember hearing the term until that timeframe, and now places like Jets have fully embraced it.

Standard non-grease cup pepperonis are one of my least favorite pizza ingredients. Grease cup pepperonis are my absolute favorite. One local/regional chain, Jets, actually offers both for some reason. You just need to know to order “bold” pepperoni if you want the good stuff.

Repainting the exterior of a house on an annual basis? Unless you live in an extreme climate I just don’t see this as being necessary.

As a mustache-haver I can tell you that getting the smell of campfire or charcoal grill smoke out of hair can be very difficult. I sometimes shampoo twice and it’s still there. I grill 4-5 times per week during the summer, so my wife simply accepts it as my “summer smell”.

I’m too young to have been a fan of All in the Family during its original run, but I’m a big fan. From what  I understand, the “wokeness” of AIF was lost on the people who most needed to hear the message. Archie was regarded as a hero by a lot of people with zero irony.

Regarding laundry, I suspect this is highly household-dependent. We use white towels, washcloths, sheets, napkins, socks, etc, specifically so we can run them with hot water and bleach. I’d have to assume doing this regularly keeps the washing machine fairly clean.

You could also save yourself a lot of trouble and purchase one of the many bluetooth receivers on the market. I used to have a set of three cordless bluetooth phones throughout my house. Once texting became the norm and I rarely talked on the phone I removed them. I do get the appeal of having an old school looking

I didn’t realize most Android phones lacked this feature. I hope Apple never gives it up, as I utilize that slider all the time. It provide a simple, tactile way to tell if my phone is silenced or not.

I think minivans are great for their intended purpose. I’d consider one, except I work for an automaker that doesn’t make one, and I’m sort of tied to our lineup.

They are useless? My family’s CUV performs the duties that we need it for. Is it fun to drive? Not really, but I still prefer it to a sedan or wagon for everyday driving and family needs. I appreciate the easier ingress/egress, as well as the additional cargo space vs a sedan.

I’ve always been primarily a beer drinker. When I was younger I did enjoy mixing a shot or three in with beer during a night out. While I fully understand the science that alcohol is alcohol, liquor just hits different for me. I don’t overdue it nearly as often as I used to, but at age 39 I can still drink a seemingly

My brother in law was a repo man during/after the Great Recession. Yeah, it’s a morally grey job, but he was out of work and had a family to support. He almost always went out looking overnight/early morning, so if you are really trying to avoid the inevitable, be extra careful during these times. One other thing I

That sounds like one of the reasons that practice has gone by the wayside :)

Also very true.

Electric vehicle sales are up by 66.4 percent over Q1 of 2021. That’s an insane difference, even accounting for the pandemic and its effect on people’s car-buying habits. That kind of difference bodes well for the EV industry as a whole and for consumers.”

To me this just seems like a waste of perfectly good beer.

Good! Now lets see the same with distracted driving.

I’m somebody’s dad, and I’m probably going to buy tickets. I’m only 39 though. You probably should have said “somebody’s grandpa” to make the joke you were trying to make.

I think I would try and be as close to the blast zone as possible. I don’t think trying to survive in a post-nuclear apocalypse world is something I’d like to do.
