I obviously have no right to tell them what to do with their money, but that would almost certainly make the most financial sense right now. At the very least they should buy out the lease and sell/trade it in for their next vehicle.

No offense, but the buyer would almost certainly be best off buying out his lease and waiting until the inventory situation improves before replacing it. I’m also at the tail-end of a lease for a vehicle I don’t particularly love. I’m looking forward to driving something else, but I’m buying it out and waiting at…
Culvers is awesome, easily my favorite drive thru burger. I live in Michigan, so there are no In and Outs here. I’ve wanted to try it ever since I learned of it from The Big Lebowski in the late 90s. About 5 years ago I took a business trip to LA and thought I’d have my chance. After 12 hours at a work event, I drove…
I think the appeal of Larry (the character) is that he is unappealing. He says a lot of things that many of our inner assholes want to say, and openly mocks a lot of the bullshit social norms and conventions that we are expected to just accept in our everyday lives.
I used to hate the finale, and used to skip on on when I re watched the show. Over time I came to appreciate what they set out to do with it, and I now enjoy it. I think a lot of people watched the entire series without really realizing that the main characters were actually terrible people.
I can’t believe we are already at the point where we are calling Xbox 360 retro gaming.
I learned the hard way to be extra sure I washed all of the oil from cutting up jalapenos off of my hands before removing my contact lenses.
No Millie Vanilli?
I think this applies generally, but you’d be surprised how it goes in some places. My family owns a place “up north” in a rural township. The county inspectors up there keep an eye out for any sort of work being done, and can really be a pain in the ass.
I went skiing once in my life and had a blast. My grandparents took my friend and I to our “up north” place when I was 15, and brought us to a nearby ski resort. They paid for an hourlong introduction lesson, which was actually very helpful. I seemed to catch on okay, and had fun skiing for two days. At the end of our…
It’s been 10 years and I still wish I could figure out who it was. My family (at that time just my wife and I) mostly keep to ourselves, so I can’t imagine any time we would have offended anyone. My favorite part of that day was when a neighbor who lives on the other side of the street, and who I don’t know very well,…
I’m interested to see “replacing an existing roof” listed under permit not needed. To my knowledge a permit is required for this in most jurisdictions.
Of the two I’d give the edge to waffles. I enjoy the crisp exterior of a properly executed waffle. I do make pancakes a lot more often though, because making waffles for my family of 4 with a single waffle iron is a lot more tedious than cooking two batches of pancakes on my Lodge griddle.
It definitely is for us due to being less tired, (usually) more freshly showered, and not having the worry about going to bed. For us having the kids out of the house also means more freedom for vocalization.
If I don’t move meat from the freezer to fridge long enough to defrost that way I almost always use the submersion method, I much prefer it to the microwave. I hate when the edges start to cook while the center remains frozen.
Does every article need to be from personal experience? I’m guessing she drew from sources, as all journalists do.
Wow, the two best remaining writers are leaving the site, this is a sad day. I’ve been following this site since 2008, and it’s been sad watching the quantity and quality of posts go through a steady decline, especially over the past ~5 years. I realize this isn’t the fault of the staff, but it’s incredibly sad to…
That’s what I was thinking. This situation could obviously have a lot of negative implications, but I wouldn’t think food safety would be one of them. I hope there aren’t many people out there making chicken sashimi with Tyson chicken.
My wife and I have been married for 11 years, together for 16, and our sex life is currently the best it’s ever been. As mentioned, communication and openness are key. We don’t exactly schedule it a week out, but at this point we are open enough to just say yes, that’s something we are interested in doing that day. We…
We are currently trying to declutter our house. This, with our George Foreman Grill, is exactly the kind of thing we come across in the kitchen cabinet that we decide to get rid of because we’ve used it 5 times in the last 15 years.
