Wow, it sounds like you went through quite an experience. It is nothing near that level with my wife. With the kids it tends to manifest itself as overreacting to small things, for example yelling at them if they spill a glass of milk. She usually apologizes for overreacting once she’s had a chance to take a step

Back around September I switched to eating salads for lunch ~6 days per week. The majority of the time I use bagged baby spinach as the base due to ease of use. I’ve made a few other lifestyle modifications beyond that, and I’ve seen dramatic improvements to my health. That said, every time I see one of these recalls

I have been living with my spouse for 15 years, and she has battled depression and anxiety for all of that time. She has always been in treatment, and the severity ebbs and flows. I understand that it isn’t her fault, and that what she is going through is much tougher than anything I do. That said, mental illness can

I’ve honestly found that I just prefer typing. For one, my handwriting is not very legible, even to me. Another reason is that I can type much faster than I can write by hand.

I used to take notes for work in an old fashion notebook. That was sort of the last thing I did on pencil and paper with any sort of regularity. A couple of years ago I finally switched to Microsoft One Note and I haven’t looked back. I find that in addition to being more legible, my notes are much better organized.

They do in my son’s 3rd grade class.

I guess that’s true for many of us now. I got a booster, and I will most likely die at some point. Hopefully not for several decades, but someday.

Home Depot near me has plenty of N95s available, and you can also buy them there online.

As a bearded person I did a lot of reading on this. Beards do not completely negate masks at all. They certainly reduce effectiveness, but not to nearly the level I had feared.

I don’t know if I have a large face, but I do have a beard that I’ve been trying to keep as short as I’m comfortable with. I like the 3M Aura. I find them to be comfortable, and they fit my face well. You can buy them at Home Depot. https://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-Aura-Particulate-Respirator-N95-Foldable-10-Pack-9205P-1

Unlike a lot of others, I agree with you. Think of how long people like cops sit in idling cars with no issues.

They might not go down to where they were pre chip shortage, but they will improve once the supply situation is better. One big factor are factory incentives. In a normal auto market they are available on virtually every model. Right now manufacturers are putting very little money on the hood because they don’t have

We do use parchment paper for baking cookies. I don’t generally use it as a liner though because it has temperature limitations.

I went to a Rolling Stones concert back in November. We bought the tickets pre-pandemic, and the show had been rescheduled. We were very nervous to go, but wore N95s and didn’t remove them once the entire time. We ended up having a great time at the concert. We had such a great time, we may have been a little

My grandma gave my now wife and I a couple of old baking sheets when we first moved in together 15 years ago. They came with all sorts of things baked onto them, and obviously don’t have any less 15 years later. I know it’s wasteful, but I do use foil on them 95% of the time. This isn’t because I’m grossed out by the

Of course you will consume gas along a trip, but how often are you driving with very little fuel in the car? If you know there is snow in the forecast you should definitely make sure you have at least a half tank of gas.

The sad thing is that I don’t utilize all of the pockets. I carry as little in my pockets as possible. I just don’t know what other kind of shorts to wear.

I think you misunderstand what some other people go through. People in deeply religious families, and especially certain religious communities often expect their children will be the same way. It’s not unheard of for some families to disown their children if they tell them they no longer follow that particular belief

I also live in Michigan, maybe it takes 14 years for those things to migrate from the coasts.

I also neglected to mention in my original reply to you, but my children are atheists. I thought my original post was clear; I’m not raising them to be any specific religion, but they have been atheists since birth because they have never believed in any god/goddess/flying spaghetti monster, etc. We are all atheists
