The Moderna booster is still a larger dose than the Pfizer shot though, which is why I assume I had worse side effects from it.

I had a rough time with shot #2, and a worse time with the booster. I suspect it might be because I received Pfizer for 1 and 2, and Moderna for the booster.

We haven’t completely shut them away. We’ve gone on trips to mostly outdoor destinations, and took them into a few businesses on those trips. The library or a museum might be fine for now, but I still don’t think the risk is worth it to take them into a grocery store, as I don’t see any real benefit for them.

Eh, I don’t think I repressed a whole lot. I cried plenty at various times between my mom’s death in April and that holiday season. I’m certainly not a macho type guy who is afraid to express emotion. I suspect it was a combination of being drunk and reflecting back on that year.

I’m curious what all of this is going to mean for my 5 and 8 year old who are now fully vaccinated with two shots. I’m not looking for anyone here to answer, but are two shots sufficient for them, or will they be more like adults in this respect? If two shots aren’t, how soon might we see boosters approved for young

From personal experience I don’t think this would work for me. As you mention, it isn’t always predictable. Several years ago I had what was the most up and down year and a half of my life. First my wife became pregnant with our first child, then before sharing the news with anyone my mom told us she was diagnosed

We have lived in our house for 12 years, and see enough of these things that spiders don’t even bother me anymore. Heck, even the small centipedes no longer give me pause. Only the type large enough to hiss at you bother me these days.

That is a very good point. I know a fair amount about the history of beer, and you’re right about it tasting much different. Back in the Middle Ages it was much more likely to be flavored with various herbs than hops, which would indeed result in a vastly different product.

The difference is that none of those vehicles call the material leather like Tesla does. Cadillac is borderline.

You forgot the tip about not having kids. Making Christmas cookies with their “help” adds a lot of time and stress.

Any idea how much worse the Xbox One version will be? I’m a dad with two young kids and don’t have much time for gaming these days. Most of the gaming I manage to get in is on Switch with the kids. I’m definitely not going to seek out a hard to find console just so that I can play one game on it, but as a longtime

It does not reflect positively on the podcasts you listen to if they induce sleep.

How about a tutorial on how to actually wrap a gift? I’m 38 years old, and no matter how hard I try my gifts look like they were wrapped by a 7 year old on a sugar high.

I keep waiting for the day where I get to read major positive news, it doesn’t seem like there has been one of those in a long time. I know there is a lot we don’t know at this point, but I’m already dreading the possibility of a 4th vaccine shot. I’m someone who had a “robust” reaction to my 2nd shot and the booster,

I don’t know how people wait until Christmas Eve to decorate. We are either slow, have a lot of ornaments, my wife is a perfectionist, or a combination of the three, because it takes us 4-5 hours to decorate the tree.

My kids (5 and 8) have never been too bad about damaging ornaments once they are on the tree, but they love to break them while we are unpacking them. Even the older one still breaks bulbs when he decides to pull them out of boxes. We try to slow them down, but they are impatient little jackals who tear through boxes

I think this is it right here, the guilt. My wife and I both drink, with beer being our drink of choice 99.5% of the time. Note: when I say we drink, I mean a couple of beers on weekend evenings, not all day every day or anything like that. When my wife was pregnant with our first child and couldn’t drink I sometimes

When I was in high school in the late 90's/early 00's I used to take either my parents’ E-Series conversion van or ‘91 Grand Marquis on dates. I feel like both were pretty sweet, although I doubt my girlfriend’s dad was a big fan of the van.

It’s been a while since I’ve been there, but I agree, Red Robin burgers are pretty solid. As I was on a business trip at that time cost of course was not a concern. If it hadn’t been so late I’d have sought out something local.

I actually poured out a significant amount of liquor, my 18-25 year old self would have been horrified. My wife and have always primarily been beer drinkers, but used to occasionally dabble in mixed drinks. We haven’t really done that at all since having kids, and finally decided that the shelf in the pantry dedicated
