Heck, I'd almost want to buy a haunted house. For one, the property value drops, so I'd get it for a great price. And for two, I've never experienced anything paranormal. I don't have any reason to believe it doesn't exist, but I'm still skeptical, and it'd be worth the experience if something DID happen!

Actually you can use the same method, but instead of cutting it, score the rind and break it apart, which keeps you from breaking the seeds.

You actually eat the seeds. They're good for the digestive tract, like eating fiber.

That's nice. But from what I see, this requires cutting the pomegranate in half, which cuts into the seeds and gets juice everywhere.

Fourth (and best) response: "Okay, hold still..."

But but but... eating the cheese nub is my favorite part of grating cheese!

Growing up poor, I never developed any kind of brand loyalty. We bought whatever we could afford, and I grew up thinking cheap non-brand mac'n'cheese tasted better than Kraft. I don't think I've ever bought name-brand medication unless it was on sale for less than generic. Cheap WalMart off-brand clothing fits me

Ha, I find this funny because I can't stomach the name-brand PopTarts! They smell funny to me, for some reason, like all the preservatives are trying to invade my nose and drown out the flavor. Generics, on the other hand, taste (and more importantly smell) just fine.

Sure, it's disappointing that you can't read it on more than one device, and you can't share notes. That sucks. But the publishers have the right to be dicks.

2, yes, but 1, no. There's no sane reason why someone should be limited to reading a book only on their Kindle, and not be able to pull it up on their phone in case they get stuck somewhere without their eBook reader (I don't know about you, but I don't carry an eBook reader on me at all times, when I have my phone).

And if you cut a corresponding buttonhole, it can serve double-duty to hang the dishcloth from the bar on your oven, so it's always at hand.

This is one of those tips where you feel like an idiot for not thinking of this a long time ago. How did I not know this? Thank you, Alan!

Incorrect. Llama has:

Llama has location, day of the week, time of day, and a dozen other triggers, as well as some pretty extensive volume and profile settings (including Bluetooth and Wi-fi too). And it's free. I've been using it for months, and it's a lifesaver.

I've had excellent results with my battery, but I also keep my phone on a charger fairly often. They do have a way to change the cell polling time so it polls less often; that would make it less accurate, but at the same time it would improve the battery aspect.

Maybe they are all at the office, hahahing at their clever joke.

You make an excellent point.... A lot of my own weekend time is spent getting caught up on chores, errands, sleep (because sometimes you have to sacrifice sleep for necessities), etc. Having a shorter workday would allow me to do those things during the week, and would turn my weekends into veritable 2-day

My coworker doodles on the giant whiteboard beside his desk. Or beside others' desks, if there's blank space. Not only is it a good way to spend a break, it cheers up the place!

Although it's nice getting vacation days, it sucks having to try and schedule a vacation around work needs and holidays and so on. Not to mention once you go on that vacation, usually you need a vacation from the vacation thanks to the stress of traveling, planning, and dealing with family. And a vacation only gives

Dang. I checked my posts, and the only one that had apparently been shared enough to have the "View Ripples" option was too old to glean the data.
