It's too bad they only ship within Europe and not to the U.S. It's such a genius idea. Chalk one up to the people always complaining that things on this site are only for the U.S. and Canada!

Actually, tim, I'm going to go ahead and email the devs on that, because one of my own big frustrations is that it doesn't stay on, and since Android 2.2 added BT voice control support, they ought to be able to add that...

See edit: There is hope.

The description of the app says that it uses Google's voice recognition, so if Voice Actions doesn't understand you, it's not likely Jeannie will either.

I usually dress up as a zombie for Halloween, and that Liquid Latex cut trick is invaluable. Know what else is invaluable? LIPSTICK. You can do a lot of special effects with just a bit of dark red and black lipstick, and it's dirt cheap at dollar stores.

I had an interesting conversation with my Jeannie the other day:

You have to touch the screen to turn it on, but you can tell it to "go to standby" and it will go inactive and reactivate when you say "Hey phone" or "Hey Jeannie".

The default voice is free. SVOX is only if you want to replace the voice with something else. If you never change the voice, it will stick to the default Android Pico TTS voice, the same as your Google Navigation uses.

I've found the best way for me to get things done on my to-do list is to have someone else hold me accountable. I know if I don't get X, Y, or Z done, they'll ask me later if I've done them, and I'd have to guiltily say "No", so I do them to avoid having to look bad and/or to feel good when I'm able to say "Yes I

I think carrying around a hot leg with $20 worth of garters and a tube sock is going to be a little conspicuous.

Here, just print a few of these and toss them in your dummy wallet. Great for taking with you on that vacation to [insert dangerous location here]!

Lame. Required little to no work. Painful to look at. Pointless.

Hmm, now I wonder if this comes in plaid!

Uh, wow man. "pain relief = aloe, relaxation = spa/massage/aromatherapy, and if you need your apetite stimulated, there's some other medical problem"...

It's less about "should we decriminalize it" and more about "should it have been criminalized in the first place". Remember, the government once tried to criminalize alcohol, too. If it's no more dangerous than alcohol or prescription drugs, there's no reason to keep it criminal (ESPECIALLY when it's safer than the

Actually it's probably as bad for driving as drinking, coming from someone who smokes infrequently. My reaction times are slowed down, and I get prone to easy distraction. But drinking is legal and regulated, so that's certainly not a valid reason to keep it criminalized.

I'm a smoker with fibromyalgia and I can tell you, it works for pain management for my condition about as well as Vicodin or Percoset, without the potential for severe addiction. Before I started smoking, if I had a flare-up, I had the choice of either spending the entire day in bed on a heating pad and lesser pain

Somebody give this man a star.

My ditzy roommate bought a new router and kept asking me and my other roommate what we wanted her to call it, and we told her we didn't care.

Wow, this would have worked great when I was trying to get a hold of my ex for the money he owed me... To think, I could have spoofed a number and gotten through instead of calling his friends and having to ask them to tell him to call me, because he was ducking my calls.
