Came for “Flat-Bottomed Wheels.” Left satisfied.

O/T, but try Quilter. It’s all I use now.

Uh, yeah, no.

Now playing

Thank you. I will now proceed to ignore this person’s music (what I’ve heard isn’t earth-shattering), and focus on the barrier-smashers:

I agree with you!

Agreed. One of “Herr Governator’s” better decisions.

Thank you for writing this piece. I am a fan of Paul’s work, as I am of musicians like Miles Davis, Ike Turner, and so on, and their actions are highly disturbing.

OMG same!

I have the Elantra Touring - manual wagon, sold in Europe as the i3 - with the old Beta engine (2011).

Here’s the alternate theme song: “Crank You For Being A Crank.”

Aw! I had the 308 GTS when I was a kid. Good memories looking at that thing...

Not enough stars for this! I have Latino AND Filipino family, and man, as a kid, the sandals (and wooden spoons, and belts, etc.) were a-flyin’, I tell ya!

He bonded with Gary Cherone over their mutual admiration of “Queen II,” which I’d agree is one of their very best albums.

Thank you. If I were that law enforcement official it would take everything I have not to go off on that moron. Welp, back to Buddhist meditation for me!

Having gone to high school in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, I listened to Can (the reissues came out around ‘89), Husker Du, Pere Ubu, Pixies, Sonic Youth, and so on.

So... I hope you did the same for P.I.L.’s masterpiece, “Album” - also from 1986.

My Hyundai Elantra Touring (i30 Estate in the EU; ‘tis a wagon AND a manual with the stock 17-inch rims that get the nod of local pachucos - so it’s not a meh car) has ratcheting headrests. I guess they’re supposed to remain in the back position in case of a sudden stop.

My dad and I fashioned a floor plate for my hand-me-down Volvo 122S from a VERY early reel-to-reel storage casing. The joke we had was “it’s 99% Volvo; 1% IBM.”

“...the sweet bass guitar riff that kicks off Kenny Loggins’ ‘Danger Zone.’”

I was on the road at the time this movie went international. In Spain I treated myself to “Colego, Donde Esta Mi Coche?” It’s a good way to practice translating idiomatic expressions.
