They must have forgotten all those years of bemoaning when people wanted to be treated with civility, but they called it “political correctness” and told everyone that it was a bad thing. Then the time since Trump decided to run for office, and they called people “snowflakes” and complained about “safe spaces”.

Or insulted a gold star family. Or mocked and debased a veteran and POW about being captured, or a woman about her looks, or victims of a terrorist attack (although not Muslim so it’s not terrorism), or, oh god this list could get really long.

It’s literally in the manual about how abusers work. Psychologists have an acronym for it and everything.

Their response tells us it’s working. Keep it up! Confront them in restaurants, airports, shopping malls, wherever they deign to be in public. They are public servants, and deserve to know how the public feels about their actions.
