It still really fucking distresses me that Trump is forever going to be memorialized in the Hall of Presidents. That’s a petty and small thing compared to all of the other horrors that he’s inflicted on us in the past 11 months, yet it still cuts me deeply.

Increased operating expense for the same amount of chicken (or egg) IS a reduction in productivity. More importantly, changing the requirements of what kind of exterior space is available to the birds and when necessitates changes to the physical plant, which can get very expensive very fast.

It seems in step with his “reduce regulations at all costs” approach to governing; what’s particularly annoying here is that the organic certification process is a choice - it’s not compulsory.
