This is some insidious shit.
This is some insidious shit.
I would like to hear his tone of voice while delivering that statement. That is key when Zooks speaks.
"You know, it's interesting that Garfield believed that federal funding for education was the key for advancing civil rights for black people."
Boy, that sounds fucking annoying.
The two expensive drug rehabs I've been to were almost exclusively white people. Minorities go to jail and white people go to equine therapy.
DID YOU GUYS SEE TRUMP'S TWEET THIS MORNING?
In Pennsylvania *most* liquor stores are closed on Sundays, with only a few - usually in population centers - open. As an alcoholic, I can attest to the stores that are open being absolutely swamped on Sunday mornings. So, the "the other guys will clean our clocks if we let them take that business" thing is valid.
The move north was out of character, but he was certainly needlessly reckless once there. I'm not talking about grand-strategy stuff. I'm talking about listening to Hood and attacking the Union right at little round top and probably winning the battle of Gettysburg by taking the high ground.
Lee had gravitas that Longstreet didn't. Longstreet was too much of a man for hero worship - fallible, introspective, wracked with grief over the sudden deaths of his three kids to Cholera. Lee was this gray, stolid ghost on his horse who had absolute faith. It's easier to worship a caricature than a man.
…to be your own council on absolutely everything. That's a goddamn fool's errand, for sure.
Do you think anyone ever is candid with Trump?
Trump is having a pretty solid Twitter tantrum again today.
It was pretty fucking crazy, I'll give it that
The tonal difference really killed it for me. Season one was obviously bleak and fucked up, but it wasn't…I don't know really how to explain, hopelessly ugly, I guess?
There was a lot of crap in the first season, but goddamn did certain moments make up for it. The second season didn't have any of those redeeming scenes. Hell, that long take when the bikers rob the trap house is better than literally everything in the second season.
One of the girls who was writing for me openly wept when I gave her a copy of The Elements of Style to take to college.
See, I hate the stereotype of your typical teenagers - and a lot do fit pretty soundly into the aloof, dickish, self-centered cliche. However, I managed high school-aged students who wanted to get published in our local paper and I was nothing but impressed by every. single. one. First off, they seem a lot more - for…
You sold me, man. I'm excited for this one.
He seems to absolutely crave acceptance and praise though.
I really like to think this kind of stuff really hurts him.
