I agree, mostly. But, it's the precedent being set. It makes accusers feel even less safe coming forward against the rich and powerful in the future.

It's so "normal" for people just to laugh off jury duty too. These are the kinds of things that make you a citizen. I hate that it's a "joke" to blow off jury duty.

Nah, WWN was fun - Elvis sightings and Batboy, as noted.

I think Limbaugh is sincere - he's been doing his thing for a while and he is consistent and earnest.

Hopefully. We'll see what happens. I'm, clearly, not very optimistic about the prospects of the Cos every going to prison.

…and Cosby walks! Man, no wonder people are afraid to report rapes. Sure, his legacy is forever stained. But, he also fucking walked. Walked after admitting to drugging women. Walked after dozens of accusers came out publically. Bullshit and a step back in the fight against rape culture.

In my experience, cocaine isn't something that people do small amounts of. It truly is a binge drug - it's not like taking some opiate pills to mellow out or a few hits off of a joint. You are either high or not on cocaine, and if not, you are chasing that high by doing more and more.

What the fuck is even happening?

Sgt. Pepper's FTW.

Right? "Do you accept the $8.00 charge to get $20? y/n"

The only time I've been to strip clubs was when I was so fucked up that it barely registered that I was seeing naked people or that they were, in fact, putting their boobs on my face for dollar bills.

A lot of the sports dedicated channels are like that. I love MLB, but the MLB Network is mostly stuff like "watch this kinda okay pitcher from the 88-89 Yankees show you how to throw a two-seam fastball!" punctuated by the occasional game (they show a lot of Red Sox, so that's cool). Dedicated channels seem a little

Curling attracts a lot of hot ladies for whatever reason and is weirdly hypnotic. I don't know if I will like it the same now that I don't smoke pot anymore (I loved getting high and kicking back with some curling), but I dig it.

Pence is a dipshit moron too, just quieter.

I don't know. I'll probably give it a shot and see if I can deal. If everyone else leaves though…seems kind of pointless.

You are going to stick around for Kinja, Easy?

I wonder if they are even going to do a newswire about the switch or any acknowledgement at all of their commentariat? I've been hanging on this site for about a decade now, not that it matters. But, a lot of us have been loyal readers for a long time.

I would if I could. Not exactly a hiring boom around here.

I was young when OJ was on trial and lived in a very small, very white town. Everyone I knew just assumed he was guilty. The only dissent I remember was occasionally hearing things on the news, but I figure that to just be some crackpots. But, maybe?

A lot of my coworkers, like a real lot of 'em (enough that they fuck with me now because it makes me exasperated) think he's innocent.
