Rosa - In an article about pronunciation, you pulled a gaff! " jiffy", rather then "gif" ". Fer shame!

The internet is merely a pRon tool that can do other things that aren't important.

Pardon my Mac ignorance, but what's the big deal here? A few weeks ago I dug out a big pile of old PC stuff to give to a local charity, and for kicks I put 3 PCI cards in an 11 year old 366 MHz W98 box and connected a mix of 7 LCDs and CRTs. All worked perfectly. My current Win 7 box is driving 3 28" LCDs and a TV.

On another note:

These new hard drives are amazing. I have a 2 TB external with 1.3 TB of data loaded, and the damn thing still weighs the same as it did before I loaded it!

At my grandson's graduation party in June I watched a 17 month-old playing with an iPhone. She was scrolling through the pictures on it, recognizing the people, and taking the phone to them to see their pictures. She handled it as well as her 18 year-old brother.

Ever have to mop up around and under monitors, towers, keyboards, etc.?

I like everything about it, with one exception: It needs a broader base to help prevent being toppled over - even on a desk.

@Otakju: One of my ex-wives used the smoke alarm as a kitchen timer.

@BIGE1312: Have you ever seen a 6 foot long TV/Phono/Radio console with a table model TV perched on top?

It fits everything in 5 sq. feet! I never use a real oven anyways

@thomasl2003: They'll very likely charge $15-20 P&H

@Bender: It's not a Vivitar commercial. It was made for a company that got a good deal on the cameras and has set up a scam. The S&H is probably $14.95

Get used to it. This is a commercial ready to be aired hundreds of times every day. All they need to do is record "1-800-555-1212, CALL NOW" repeatedly and loudly at the end. The last few seconds of the layout leaves room for the phone number to be shown.
